Apparently these anti bark collars are harmless and not cruel. I do realize that some scolding and other means of punishment can be much more harmful than an anti bark collar? Each dog owner should make sure of safety, the pro's and con's of a helping aid in relation to what is needed.

On the other hand a constant barking or whining dog just is not acceptable. It can become like noise pollution for some people threatening their peace of mind. This can lead to very unhealthy human relations in a neighborhood. These collars are not so expensive, available on the internet and pet shops.
